With the festive environment around, when Baaya Design invited me to witness a showcasing of artefacts, paintings and hand crafted beauties that stand a class apart, I am always happy to be a part of such an experiential and unique products range. What I loved the most of the exquisite collection from Baaya was the varied and huge festive collection, which covered all the important festivals – Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra and Diwali. Festivals in India especially are a way of bringing us all together and they unite us over various celebrations and joyous moments. Why not add the right and perfect blend of colours, happiness, light and brightness in these festive days by picking your décor pieces that will illuminate your homes and hearts.

As you can see in the pictures already, this time around Baaya Design’s latest collection showcasing was also backed with a beautiful cause. These handcrafted décor pieces you see are also from reputed NGOs other than their own collection preview. They include right from intricately hand woven torans to diyas and lamp shades and also some hand painted coasters and T-lights which are a beautiful choice for Diwali. The collection also saw loads of brass lamp-shades and copper utensils as they are considered very auspicious too during these festivities and they are a perfect gifting option as Baaya also helps you with some unique packaging too.

Baaya has something exciting for all the fashionista girlies out there too!! My most favourite one out of this entire lot was the special Navratri ladies bags (Both sling and carry alls) which allows you to dance away with the sling by your side. You can see for yourself in the pictures, the thread work and the detailing on the bags which makes them stand-out. To complete the ethnic look, Baaya has also designed some very chic belts that will match your ghagra-cholis and add so much desi-ness!!

If these beautifully handcrafted gifting ideas don’t make you drop by at Baaya already, then there’s something which will definitely capture your heart – Exquisite paintings like Mata-ni-pachedi and Rogan, which are authentic art forms and are painted by so many skilled artisans from different parts of remote India.Every painting narrates a story and stands in conjunction with our Indian culture.

May there always be happiness and joys always prevail in all our lives, in these festivities and otherwise!!! With this small wish for one and all I would want there to be smiles galore and I so appreciate the efforts and kind deeds, which Baaya supports and puts forward with every single piece of art. They support an artisan, their art and provide them with a platform, which is so commendable. Like I always say, a small thought behind an endeavor is what makes it great!!! Happy Gifting guys, thanks to Baaya Design..

Ms. Shibani Jain, the Founder & CEO of Baaya Design showed us the entire collection and explained to us the story behind it along with the importance of each art form.

Hats Off to one heck of a showcasing that has set me up right into the mood of the FESTIVE aura around!!!
