Lakme Fashion Week 2017 Day 5 summer Resort saw a star studded line up with so many talented labels and celebrity biggies like Tabu, Malaika Arora, Sushmita Sen etc walked down the ramp as showstoppers and made day 5 even more memorable as ever.
I loved Divya Reddy’s showcasing her latest collection called “Shahibzadi” was a real symphony of elegance and class. Malaika Arora walked down the ramp in a classic red bralette and a yellow pleated lehenga, all set for a glamorous night.
Gaurav’s label “House of Khanijo” presented “Summer Sojourn” who’s collection was dedicated towards men who are globetrotters and love summer fashion.
Anushree Reddy showcased all the beautiful wedding trousseaus for both men and women and her collections name was in sync with the designs “An Indian Summer”.
Vineet-Rahul, the super talented designer duo brought some feminine silhouettes back on the ramp with their “Gulnar” collection.
Gaurang Shah presented the “Muslin Collection” which was inspired by different love stories of nature that transpired through woven textiles. The ever-gorgeous Tabbu walked the ramp as a showstopper in a wide gold bordered Anarkali teamed up with a flared up lehenga.
Ajio.com has specially curated an online fashion destination #NotWhatIWear movement which stands against discrimination of all kinds and it supports women’s choices of being who they are and what they want to be.
I decided as for my look of the day to opt for Biba’s gorgeous printed striped kurta in black. Right from the quirky colour combination to the mix of white, grey and the high front slit made it an interesting pick for this day. I loved the fit along with the front-buttoned upper body and bordered three-fourth sleeves, which makes it easy to move in and run around the whole day at the Fashion Week and yet stay oh so stylish.
This LFW SS 2017, Biba India’s outfits were a clear winner as they had me covered right from jumpsuits to front slit tops and Indo-western fusion. You can check out their latest Spring Summer collection right here – www.biba.in
